Fees.

Galaxy Health Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice for weekdays and private billing for weekends. Non-medicare card holders are also welcomed to be consulted with private fees. Pre-employment Medicals and driving license Medicals will be private billed. Some surgical procedures will not be covered by medicare and fees will be applied accordingly.

  • Consultation fees

  • Our clinic will be updated all types of consultations including telehealth (phone consults) to

    •  Mixed billing on weekdays and

    •  100% private billing on weekends. (The fees will be applied for all the weekend appointments)

    • Covid positive isolation patients will be bulk billed for phone consultation.

    Bulk billed categories on the weekdays after registering with MyMedicare. (Ask reception for details)

    • Under 16 years

    • Health care card holder 

    • Pension card holder

    • Phone consult for Covid positive patients

    • Vaccine appointments (flu vaccines, Covid vaccines and government schedule vaccines only

    Fees

    For weekdays

  • Standard appointment will be $50 for private fees with Medicare rebate of $41.20

  • Long consult will be $87 for private fees with Medicare rebate of $79.70

    For weekends

  • Standard appointment will be $75 with Medicare rebate of $53.65

  • Long consult will be $115 with Medicare rebate of $92

  • Treatment Room Facility Fees

Our treatment room can provide many consumable products to assist with your healthcare. Please be aware that fees will be charged for certain dressings, bandages and other products. These charges are not claimable through Medicare.

  • Workplace Injury or Illness Management

Due to current Medical policy any workplace related injury or illness are unable to Bulk bill. Payments for all treatments relating to workplace injury or illness must be paid at the time of consultation unless you can provide details of an approved Work Cover.

  • Transferring Medical Records

We do not charge a fee to send the patient health summary to other health professionals. However, for the whole file transfer, there will be the fees for administration, copying and postage or disc. All the medical record requests on your behalf will only be accepted as written requests that include your written consent.

  • Did not Attend (DNA) fees

For any appointment that is not attended or not cancelled 3 hours prior to the appointed time will count as DNA. DNA appointment will be invoiced and charged.
